Why?

Hey guys. If you've come across this page, i'm guessing you did for a reason unless it was random(in that case welcome!) Well this page was made a reason too and that reason is spelled out in the bible in Philippians 2:12-13

 "Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the Power to do what pleases him."

 That bible verse explain my life now. But i'll explain my life from before (trust me it will be short)

 I've grown up in a Christian home and about 99.9% of my family is Christian so its nothing new to me. I enjoyed church, I sang in praise and worship, and i even went to church on Wednesday as well as Sundays so i felt like i was doing a pretty good job at this Christian stuff. 

 At the end of eighth grade and the beginning of freshman year i just felt bored, like there was something i was missing, and my mum challenged us to actually pay attention to what we read in the bible, to care about it. So i actually started to care, to take more than 5 min. for reading the bible. Ironically my youth pastor was preaching about our role in life and how there was more to life than being a teenager, graduating high school, getting a job and then getting old. It made me wonder about what i was doing at school how i spoke to people. If Jesus came in the middle of a conversation would he want to join in?

 Long story short after all my short comings and being side tracked i had enough of searching for a  place in life. I asked God to tell me what is was he wanted me to do in life. I still don't know but the one thing i do know is that a prayer group was something he wanted me to start so I did.
